Product description
Overview and physicochemical properties
Sucralose is a high-intensity artificial sweetener (about 600 times sweeter than sugar) with zero calories, derived from chlorinated sucrose. It is a white, odourless crystalline powder with a taste very close to natural sugar. Sucralose is highly soluble in water and polar media, and thanks to its outstanding heat stability and resistance to pH changes, its structure is unaffected by industrial processing. It is not absorbed or metabolised by the body and is excreted without affecting blood sugar or insulin.
